a5c7b9f00b Barry Allen is a forensic scientist and crime scene investigator at The Central City Police Department with a reasonable happy life, despite the childhood trauma of a man in a red and yellow bizarre killing his mother and framing his father for it. All that changes when a massive particle accelerator created by visionary physicist Dr. Harrison Wells and his team at S.T.A.R Labs causes a malfunction creating a freak storm, killing many people and Barry being struck by lightning in his lab. He wakes up after a coma nine months later. He and his new friends at S.T.A.R Labs discover that he has superhuman speed and can run on both land and water. He can move, think and react at light speeds. He can also vibrate so fast that he can pass through walls, travel through time and lend or borrow speed. He heals more quickly than an average human. Later, he learns that he is but one of the many affected by the incident, most of them who are using their powers for evil. Determined to make a difference, Barry dedicates his life to fighting such threats as The Flash.

In my opinion, this show started great with a surprising first season, but as the second season came along is like the show- runners and script writers ran out of ideas and started doing random stuff that made no sense whatsoever. The second season had way too many plot holes and continuity errors. Too many things made no sense whatsoever and many other things were left completely unexplained. It was almost as if the both the show- runners and the script writers were changed halfway through the season and they had no idea what was going on with the show. I won&#39;t get too much into detail but an example of this was the Zoom almost killing &quot;Jay Garrick&quot; flashback at the beginning of the season. Technically, with what happened later on the show, that NEVER happened since it was all made up by zoom, so why show a flashback to an event that never happened?! A second example was when Zoom killed his Jay Garrick self in front of the team. He arrived with the body at his lair and said &quot;Well, this is a complication&quot; but then like 3 episodes later supposedly it was all part of his plan all along and his Jay Garrick self agreed to being killed. So why, if it was all part of his plan all along and his other self agreed to being killed, why was it a complication? The season already ended and this was never explained. These two things I just mentioned were left completely unexplained and it caused continuity errors with things that happened later that SAME season. They create quite the plot holes as well. But these are just two of perhaps the 10 to 15 things that were left completely unexplained by that season. It is almost as if they just rushed through the script writing without revising it after they were done. They really didn&#39;t think things through with this season. Maybe the success of the first season got in their heads and they thought they could just make a bunch of random illogical stuff and people would like it.<br/><br/>Another thing is that the acting this season felt less natural, like they suddenly forgot how to act sometimes. It bugged me quite a lot, specially with Danielle Panabaker who, in my opinion, had the worst acting this season.This does not applies to Tom Cavanagh because he is actually a great actor.<br/><br/>So yeah, unfortunately, looking at how the second season played out, if in the third season they don&#39;t do something to fix all the errors they made in the second season then this show will get nowhere, and if they continue making more continuity errors and plot holes then this show will completely fail.
I am not a fan of DC, however I have seen series 1, 2, and part of series 3 of this show. <br/><br/>Season 1 - This season is entertaining and clever. There are lots of interesting and well-executed concepts. The acting and the reused footage are all fun. This season is fun and engaging. I enjoyed watching this.<br/><br/>Season 2 - This dumb show got dumber. The characters lost IQ points. The writers couldn&#39;t find new villains so they just recast the same guy as the primary antagonist. The effects got worse. No-one working on this could figure out how to put time travel on the show and have it make sense. Watching this season is like watching a train wreck. <br/><br/>Season 3 - I don&#39;t understand why they couldn&#39;t get another actor to play the villain. This season got so idiotic I had to stop. Watching this CG mess of stupidity is like watching a city burn. The first season was good so for some reason the decision was made to slash the budget and fire the writers (I&#39;m assuming that&#39;s what happened).<br/><br/>DC made the first season good by accident. They tried to make the next ones enjoyable, but failed miserably.

Every season, there will be a meta-human villain, but here are the main ones:<br/><br/>Season One: Harrison Wells(Actually Eobard Thawne aka the Reverse Flash)<br/><br/>Season Two: Zoom<br/><br/>Season Three: Alchemy, Grodd, and Savitar<br/><br/>Season Four: The Thinker (so far) There is no exact speed but as every episode premieres, Barry gets faster and faster and eventually cantravel through time.<br/><br/>In the episode &#39;Tricksters&#39;Barry / The Flash is forced to run over 600mph otherwise a bomb attached to his wrist by The Tricksters will explode. Barry removes the bomb via Harrison Wells&#39; request , vibrating through a wall and leaving the bomb on the other side. <br/><br/>In addition, in the episode &#39;Fast Enough&#39;Barry / The Flash makes the decision to travel back in time by creating a wormhole to the past by running at super speeds. Dr. Martin Stein adds that he will need to be running at Mach 2 to be successful, any slower will result in his death. He then runs this speed and is successful in traveling back in time. Mach 2 is about equal to 680.58 m/s or 1,522.41 mph.
